RED LUXEMBURGUISTA INTERNACIONAL

En esta organización nos agrupamos militantes luxemburguistas, que compartimos los postulados de Rosa Luxemburgo. Nuestro objetivo, como miembros de la clase proletaria, es ayudar a organizar la revolución mundial, aportando nuestras perspectivas, basadas en el socialismo y la democracia radicales.

Actualmente, contamos con militantes en Argentina, Chile, España, Estados Unidos, Francia, Noruega, Portugal y Reino Unido. Evidentemente, no somos ni pretendemos ser los únicos activistas que reivindican el pensamiento de Rosa Luxemburgo. Tampoco creemos que el Luxemburguismo pueda ser un dogma. Todos los militantes pueden exponer libremente sus ideas, pues la Libertad es una condición indispensable para la construcción del Socialismo.

El trabajo de Luxemburgo sobre la autoorganización democrática de la clase obrera, los procesos de huelgas de masas, el funcionamiento de la acumulación capitalista, y su oposición constante a todas las formas de nacionalismo, es, creemos, clave para la comprensión y la interpretación del mundo actual. Pero su obra surgió de la vida, desarrollando la tradición del pensamiento marxista de la clase obrera, que incluye el trabajo de muchos otros antes, durante y después de su tiempo. Nos inspiramos en toda esa gran tradición, no sólo en la obra de ella.

Animamos a todos los que compartan las ideas de Rosa Luxemburgo a contactar con nosotros y a unirse a esta Red, pues a todos está abierta.

Cette organisation est composée d’activistes luxemburgistes, qui partagent les idées de Rosa Luxembourg. Notre objectif, en tant que membres de la classe ouvrière, est de contribuer à organiser la révolution mondiale, en apportant nos perspectives, basées sur le socialisme et la démocratie sous leurs formes radicales.

Actuellement, nous avons des militants en Espagne, Etats-Unis, France, Norvège, Portugal et le Royaume-Uni. Bien sûr, nous ne sommes pas et nous n’aspirons pas à être les seuls à se révendiquer de la pensée de Rosa Luxembourg. Nous ne considérons pas non plus que le Luxemburgisme soit un dogme. Tous les membres pourront défendre librement leurs idées, étant donné que la Liberté est une condition indipensable pour la construction du Socialisme.

L’oeuvre de Luxembourg sur l’auto-organisation démocratique de la classe ouvrière, les processus de grèves de masses, les rouages de l’accumulation capitaliste, et son opposition constante à tout type de nationalisme, est, d’après nous, indispensable à la compréhension et interprétation du monde actuel. Mais son travail s’est développé à partir de la tradition marxiste de la classe ouvrière, qui inclut les contributions de beaucoup d’autres avant, pendant et après son époque. Nous nous inspirions de toute cette grand tradition, pas seulement de son œuvre à elle.

Nous encourageons tous ceux et celles qui sont en accord avec les idées de Rosa Luxembourg à nous contacter et à rejoindre ce Réseau, vu qu’il est ouvert à tous.

INTERNATIONAL LUXEMBURGIST NETWORK

In this organization we group together Luxemburgist militants, who are in general agreement with the ideas of Rosa Luxemburg. Our aim, as members of the working class, is to help to organize a world revolution, contributing our perspectives based on radical socialism and democracy.

At present, we have militants in France, Norway, Portugal, Spain, the United Kingdom and the USA. Obviously, we are not, nor do we try to be, the only activists who base themselves on the work of Rosa Luxemburg. Neither do we believe that Luxemburgism can be a dogma. All militants can exhibit freely their ideas, since Freedom is an indispensable condition for the construction of Socialism.

Luxemburg’s work on the democratic self-organization of the working class, the mass strike process, the functioning of capitalist accumulation and her unwavering opposition to all forms of nationalism is, we believe, critical to understanding and acting on today’s world. But her work grew out of living, evolving tradition of Marxist working-class thought that includes the work of many others before, during and since her time. We draw on that larger tradition, not on her work alone.

We encourage all those who agree with the ideas of Rosa Luxemburg to contact with us and to join this Network, since it is open to all.

Las directivas de la Unión Europea

POR UNA ALTERNATIVA DE TODA LA CLASE OBRERA
¡JORNADAS LABORALES MÁS CORTAS, NO MÁS LARGAS!
¡FRONTERAS ABIERTAS, NO UNA GUERRA CONTRA LOS INMIGRANTES!
¡VIVIENDA PÚBLICA Y EDUCACIÓN PARA TODOS, NO A LA PRIVATIZACIÓN!
¡QUE PAGUEN LOS CAPITALISTAS, NO NOSOTROS!

La Unión Europea ha lanzado el mayor ataque de su historia contra la clase obrera. La directiva de las 65 horas, la directiva contra los inmigrantes, la directiva Bolkestein y el Plan Bolonia son parte de un único plan para reducir los costes laborales, para transferir riqueza del trabajo al capital. Si la jornada de trabajo es más larga, y así hay menos empleos y más desempleados, los salarios bajarán. Si los inmigrantes son aterrorizados hasta el punto que ellos sientan que deben aceptar el trabajo con cualquier salario, los salarios de todos bajarán. Si por la privatización el trabajo es transferido de una fuerza de trabajo con salarios más altos a trabajadores con salarios menores, los salarios bajarán.

El plan de la Unión Europea, totalmente calculado, es enfrentar a los trabajadores unos contra otros, crear una competición en todo el continente de países, industrias e individuos para que caigan en los niveles más bajos fijados por las directivas. Por eso tenemos que contestar a esto no con una serie de protestas desunidas contra directivas individuales, sino con una campaña única, coordinada. Los sindicatos que luchan contra la directiva de las 65 horas, las organizaciones de inmigrantes que luchan contra “la directiva de la vergüenza”, los estudiantes que luchan contra el plan Bolonia y los trabajadores del sector público que luchan contra la directiva Bolkestein tienen que unirse en una única lucha contra el plan de la Unión Europea, coordinando días de acciones y combinando las demandas.

No podemos responder sólo rechazando su plan, ya que ellos continuarán con otros ataques.

Debemos plantear también nuestra propia alternativa como clase obrera, que será lo TODOS NOSOTROS queramos.

- REDUCCIÓN DE LA SEMANA LABORAL EN TODOS LOS PAÍSES A 35 HORAS PARA TODOS LOS TRABAJADORES, SIN REDUCCIÓN DE SALARIOS NI DESTRUCCIÓN DE EMPLEOS. DEROGACIÓN DE LA DIRECTIVA DE LAS 65 HORAS.

- ENSEÑANZA SUPERIOR GRATUITA PARA TODOS, PROGRAMAS DE TRABAJOS PÚBLICOS MASIVOS CON EMPLEO PÚBLICO DIRECTO PARA GARANTIZAR VIVIENDA Y SERVICIOS ESENCIALES PARA TODOS. CONTROL DEMOCRÁTICO DE LOS CENTROS DE TRABAJO PÚBLICOS, CON REPRESENTACIÓN DE LOS TRABAJADORES Y LAS COMUNIDADES IMPLICADAS. - PROHIBICIÓN DE DESLOCALIZACIONES, DE DESPIDOS Y REGULACIONES DE EMPLEO

Sólo un movimiento masivo por toda Europa con amplias demandas, un proceso de huelgas de masas, que se extienda más allá de cada sector individual, puede ganar concesiones. Considerando la crisis, tales concesiones bajo el capitalismo tenderán a ser temporales. Pero en estas luchas de huelgas de masas los trabajadores pueden adquirir las organizaciones y la conciencia para cambiar radicalmente el mundo, para sustituir el capitalismo por un socialismo democrático que proporcionará de manera permanente una vida decente para todos.

Project : Multilingual Bulletin

Dear comrades :

We, the comrades who are currently forming Communist Democracy (Luxemburgist) and For
a Libertarian Left, would like to start the publication of an international bulletin or magazine.
We know that there are many groups or individuals that lay claims on the different
alternatives to the traditional currents, different from Social-Democratic reformism as well as Bolshevism. We believe that these alternatives have to be spread as much as possible among the worldwide proletariat. Even more so, considering the global crisis in which Humanity is immersed today.

We believe it is necessary that the organizations and the activists who stand for the autoemancipation of the proletariat without mediations, for socialism and radical democracy, for equality and freedom, for internationalism and revolution, should work together. We are a few. But the alternatives we propose must reach more visibility. This being in opposition to capitalism and other alternatives that have demonstrated serious errors. These errors keep being put forward as alternatives, and they keep attracting many proletarians. Apart from other reasons, since alternatives as the ones you and we back up are not visible, they are absolutely unknown and a minority.

We are few, barely around ten activists present in Argentina, Spain, Norway and France. We have contacts, supporters… But we are just those militants. Each one of us has had previous experiences and is part of other social organizations or labour unions. But as a “luxemburgist” group, we have been working for a little time. In this period, we contacted other groups and isolated activists with similar positions. It is to you all that we are addressing this proposal now.

We would like to work with whoever shares these same values. This would be done without giving up anything. Neither the autonomy of everyone, or the possibility of uniting in the future. We think that an appropriate way of starting this collaboration could be a bulletin or an international magazine, multilingual, with at first an irregular periodicity, where the analysis of the problems that faces the proletariat in the global capitalist society would be a priority.
We also consider that it could be important that members of different organizations work together in the elaboration of these analyses. Even though the bulletin will mainly be distributed on the web (at least at the beginning) we want it to have the right format so that it can be printed out and distributed on hard copy.
As a concrete proposal (of course your opinion is welcomed, we are just presenting what we would like, but we wish to progress with you) we propose the following :

Title: ‘Social Critic’ or ‘Proletarian Critic’
Subtitle: ‘revolutionary socialist bulletin for democracy and equality’ or ‘marxist
(luxemburgist) bulletin for democracy and equality’

Presentation (to be added at the end of each issue): ‘Our objective is to contribute to the information and analysis of social struggles and revolutionary movements in the world. We are inspired by Marxism, and in particular Luxemburgism, but not as dogmas (which is not at all what they are), but rather as tools that strengthen the free genuine critical spirit, in the analysis of society and its necessary transformation by the vast majority. We fight capitalism and all forms of oppression. We defend the idea that “the workers’ emancipation will be carried out by the workers themselves”, we advocate a democratic, free and egalitarian society based on solidarity : a socialist society.”

Eventually, we may add a summary of principles in several languages at the end of the
bulletin, for example:

The bulletin would have its own website, through which it will be distributed. Administered with the Spip software, it would allow its control by each participant.

Its periodicity would be at first irregular (however at least one every three months). Even though the objective is to obtain some regularity in a short period.

It would include articles and news accepted by all. And it would be presented in the languages of the participants (this implies therefore translations).

Its length would be of about 20 pages

If we have too many texts, we believe the ones analysing global issues or specific struggles that may help as references to broader ones should be treated as a priority. The same would obviously apply for the ones sticking to the news. However, all the texts may be added on the website.
